01 / THE PROBLEM

The challenge

Connect property browsing and account-oriented dashboard screens through reusable components and an environment-configurable backend.

02 / ENGINEERING APPROACH

How it’s structured

Next.js provides the frontend routes, Redux Toolkit supports state, and React Hook Form/Yup support forms. A separate Express/TypeScript API handles authentication and protected profiles, with Sequelize models and PostgreSQL persistence.

Frontend

Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, SCSS/Bootstrap, Redux Toolkit, and reusable listing/dashboard modules.

Backend

Express controllers, JWT middleware, bcrypt authentication, and protected profile routes.

Persistence

PostgreSQL through Sequelize/Sequelize TypeScript models and migrations.

03 / IMPLEMENTATION

What the project includes

  • Home, listing, property detail, agency, agent, blog, pricing, and dashboard routes.
  • Property search and filtering interfaces.
  • Signup/login API, JWT issuance, and protected profile endpoints.
  • Dashboard screens for favorites, saved searches, property management, reviews, and memberships.
  • Environment-driven API/database configuration and frontend/backend quality checks.
04 / CURRENT STATE

What’s available

A public frontend demonstrating property discovery, listing layouts, and dashboard navigation, supported by an implemented authentication/profile API in the project notes. Public browsing was checked; end-to-end backend deployment and account operations were not verified in this review.

Scope & limitations

The public frontend includes demonstration content. Property totals, testimonials, and business figures in that content are not portfolio performance metrics. Dashboard screens are not evidence that every workflow has a connected production backend.
